Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is situated in Notting Hill, close to the Tube and the vibrant Notting Hill zone, in an excellent location surrounded by beautiful gardens. The spacious rooms offered a double bed, a single bed, and a double sofa bed, along with a large bathroom. While the rooms had all the necessary amenities, they could benefit from an update.
I had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel. The rooms were spotless and had everything I needed, from a big TV screen to comfy beds. The service was top-notch, and the location was quiet yet close to many attractions. The dining options were adequate but could have offered more variety. Overall, a great value for the price.
The hotel is nestled in the heart of London, offering a quiet and convenient stay near tube stations. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet, but some were cramped with uncomfortable beds. The service was top-notch, with kind and helpful staff. The location is superb, close to Portobello road markets and the London Palladium. The dining experience was lacking in imagination at times. Overall, a decent value for money with some areas that could be improved.
Staying at this hotel was a bit of a mixed experience. While the rooms were warm and spacious, our basement location didn't offer any views. The service, especially from the owners, was very courteous and helpful during our stay. The location in Notting Hill was excellent, just a short walk from shops and the tube. However, the dining was very basic and repetitive, which was a downside. Despite some drawbacks, the overall value for money was decent.
The hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Notting Hill, making it a great choice for exploring the area. I found the rooms to be a bit lacking in amenities with a lighter under the bed and a burnt cigarette on the table, and there was no heating in late November, which was not ideal for my family with kids aged 12 and 5. The service was adequate with prompt response to inquiries and a lovely breakfast service for post-check-out requests. The location was exceptional for Notting Hill and close to Kensington Palace, although one shouldn't set high expectations. The dining experience, while a nice touch with a variety of items including eggs, ham, croissants, yogurt, and cereal, could use some improvement. Overall, the facilities were average, not standing out significantly.
The hotel is conveniently located near the tube and the bustling Portobello Road, making it a good choice for a last-minute family trip. However, the rooms were quite run down with various issues, including a lack of WiFi and cleanliness problems. The dining experience was subpar, with limited options and poorly maintained food. On the bright side, the service was outstanding, particularly from the helpful staff member Bavinci.
